What's happening where you're going
A festival is not only a reason to come: it is also a reason to stay away. Everyone will tell you to go to Rio for Carnival; nobody will tell you the hotel costs five times as much and sold out eight months ago. This calendar says both — and it knows whether your visa has time to arrive.
97 events · 48 countries · 97 sources verified over the network
Without it the visa lead time cannot be computed — and that is the one number that changes a decision.

How this calendar is built
Recurring events only
A dated concert is worthless the next day. This calendar carries only what comes back — every year, or every other year — and recomputes the dates on every render rather than storing them. It cannot rot.
No source, no event
Every entry carries its organiser's URL, and a script queries them one by one over the network. An invented festival does not merely disappoint on arrival: it makes someone board a plane. Thirteen sources had stopped responding — we found each a living source rather than deleting them in silence.
The one number that decides
Every festival site gives a date; none knows who is reading. Every visa site gives a lead time; none knows where you are going. We have both: 39,402 passport–destination pairs on one side, a dated calendar on the other.
What we do not do
We do not list concerts. Where the data exists — Paris, London, Berlin — others already do it better and for free. Where we would be useful — Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou — no API in the world provides it. We do what we know how to do: durable, curated, sourced.
